Damage Policy: Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. You have 7 days from the delivery date to submit any damage or missing item claims.
For exterior cover / slipcase damage only:
Do not remove the protective plastic wrap before contacting us. Removing the plastic wrap before submitting an exterior damage claim will void eligibility for a replacement.
This does not apply to:
- Interior damage
- Damage that isn't clearly visible through the plastic wrap.
What Qualifies as Damage
- Severely dented or crushed corners
- Broken or crushed spine
- Deep, highly noticeable scratches on the cover or spine
- Ripped or bent pages that affect readability
- Binding issues - Pages falling out or other issues that affect the structural integrity of the book.
What Does Not Qualify as Damage
- Light scratches
- Small dings or dents
- Slightly dented corners
- Wavy pages
- Minor page alignment, page stacking, page shifting, or uneven page edges
- Minor sprayed edge variations that do not affect readability or structural integrity
- Minor variations in foil, embossing, or print placement
- Minor color differences between mockups, photographs, and the final product
- Small amounts of visible binding glue that do not affect the book's functionality
All damage and missing item claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Proof of purchase and clear photos of the damage are required.
Please note: We do not replace our shipping boxes.
While we enjoy designing fun and themed packaging, these boxes are intended solely for shipping purposes and are meant to help protect your books during transit. They are not considered part of the collectible product and are not eligible for replacement if they arrive with cosmetic wear or damage.
Slipcase Policy
While slipcases are often considered protective packaging, NAF slipcases are intentionally designed as part of the collectible edition.
Because they are part of the book's design, we do offer replacements for damaged slipcases, subject to our damage policy below.
Please note: Because we do not have replacement slipcases available separately, the entire unopened book must be exchanged. If your slipcase is approved for replacement, the complete sealed book must be returned before a replacement can be issued. Once the protective plastic wrap has been removed, we are unable to replace damage that is limited to the exterior, including the slipcase.
Address Changes
We are happy to update your shipping address as long as your shipping label has not been printed. Once a label has been created, no changes can be made.
Customers are given ample notice and time to update their shipping information before orders begin shipping. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their shipping address is accurate and up to date at the time of purchase and prior to the address change deadline.
If your shipping label has already been printed or your package is already in transit, you will need to contact your local postal carrier to request package forwarding, rerouting, or a hold for pickup. Any forwarding, rerouting, return shipping, or reshipment fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that NAF is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, returned, or delivered to an incorrect address due to an inaccurate or outdated shipping address provided by the customer.
What's Included?
Each Nostalgic AF box includes one hardcover mini book and its matching collectible slipcase.
To keep our boxes as affordable as possible, we do not include merchandise or paper products, such as art prints, bookmarks, thank you cards, stickers, or other extras.
By focusing on the book itself, we're able to offer these editions at the lowest price point possible.
Release Schedule & Shipping
Nostalgic AF does not follow a set release schedule and is not a subscription box. New boxes will be announced as they’re ready.
Some months we may release more than one box, while other times it may be a month or a few months before the next one.
Instead, our goal is to have production finished before a book ever goes on sale and eventually have the books in hand before they’re available to order. This allows us to use real photos instead of digital mockups, keep shipping times as short as possible, and reduce the chance of production delays affecting your order.
There is no waitlist or early access for Nostalgic AF. All boxes are available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
Each Nostalgic AF box is limited. Once a box sells out, it will not be reprinted. The only chance to purchase a sold out box is if we have overstock available after all customer orders have shipped.
